Tips, Tricks, and Activities for Teaching Tricky English Sounds

Description: ESOL learners adopt some English sounds with ease and others remain elusive for years. So how can we help? This workshop will give participants hands-on practice with a variety of techniques for helping learners to recognize and articulate the tricky sounds of English. Attendees will also have the chance to share tips of their own and to try out low-prep activities for scaffolding pronunciation success.
